Body found near Oil Nut Bay

VISAR in action

The police are reporting that a body was found in Virgin Gorda today, Sunday, February 20.

In a brief press announcement this afternoon, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said the body is that of a black male.

The police said a team from the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR) had recovered the body in waters near Oil Nut Bay this morning.

.The person, whose identity has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene around noon.

“This death is not considered suspicious at this time. No other details are available,” the RVIPF stated.

    The fact is, if we look back in our history to know the species of people we are haggling with, we will find ample evidence confirming our suspicions..

    We need to accept the fact that they once called us slaves, and they were very pleased being slave owners and masters.

    Do you think they love us? Absolutely not!!

    Why is the Black man still facing walls sky high blocking every aspect of his human development?

    And, why do they think, to this day, that a Black life “does not matter?”
