Body recovered – Nothing suspicious so far

While appealing for help in identifying the body of a man that was recovered from a ghut below Treadfalls in the Sea Cows Bay area of Tortola on Monday (September 25), police said their investigation so far has not uncovered anything suspicious.

“We cannot confirm the cause or time of death,” said the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a media release.

“The Coroner’s Office has been notified and a post-mortem is being arranged. At this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious.”

The RVIPF further said: “We appeal for information on any missing male who may have lived, worked, or had any reason to be in that area to contact RVIPF.”
