BREAKING: BVI records 4th murder for 2025
BVI News understands that a man was fatally shot in the Purcell Estate area early this morning. This brings the BVI’s murder toll to four since the start of the year.
The victim’s identity has not been released, and the circumstances surrounding his death are unknown.
Police confirmed that officers were dispatched to the scene shortly after 7 a.m. and are actively carrying out investigations. The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force said additional details will be released as they become available.
The latest killing comes amid growing concern about gun-related crimes in the territory, with residents increasingly worried about public safety and the apparent rise in violent incidents.

Murder is not always about Drugs and money, These Don’t ignore Hate, envy, jealousy, grudge and even for doing your Job somebody wants to kill you..All of us, everyone of us no matter how good you think you are there is someone wants to see you die or wish they can kill you, only the fear of the law and imprisonment keeping a lot of us alive.. BVI is relatively peaceful compared to many other CARICOM territories etc…however due to illegal everything and 1 or 2 jackass around it has turnt into another 3rd world sheet hole.
