BREAKING: RVIPF sergeant dies after SVG traffic accident
Sergeant Calvin Cockburn of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force has died following injuries sustained in a recent traffic accident.
Cockburn reportedly died while on leave in his native St Vincent and the Grenadines, BVI News understands.
He served in several areas of the RVIPF, including the Criminal Investigations Department, the Major Incident team and Beat & Patrol.
Cockburn, who previously served in the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, was expected to retire sometime this year.
