BVI Restaurant Week returns in October

BVI Restaurant Week returns October 20 to 24, offering five nights of dinner-only experiences at 13 restaurants across Tortola.

The culinary event, the third instalment in the annual BVI Food Fete series, will officially launch on October 16 during the Village Cay Food, Wine & Rum Festival.

The launch will include introductions to participating restaurants, a cocktail happy hour, sit-down dining and light entertainment. Patrons will also be able to make early reservations for Restaurant Week.

“Our aim this year is to deliver a high-quality dining experience featuring a premium selection of restaurants. Visitors and residents are invited to enjoy these unique culinary experiences during our ‘Unrushed Season’, when many of our restaurants will have recently reopened,” Director of Tourism Clive McCoy stated.

The participating restaurants are 1748 Restaurant, Bamboushay Lounge, Flavors of Asia, Omar’s Dockside, Omar’s Sandspit, Onde, Pusser’s Road Town, Pusser’s Landing, Rhythm & Sands, Sugar Mill, Sushi Bar, Tradewinds Mexican Grill and Trellis Bay Market Bar & Grill.

Each restaurant will offer a fixed-price menu comprising two or three courses. Prices will range from $50 to $85, excluding gratuities. Individual restaurants may also include a beverage or an additional course in their offerings.

Organisers have also introduced a Digital Passport for this year’s event. Diners can collect digital stamps when they visit participating restaurants, and guests who collect six stamps will become eligible to receive a prize.

McCoy said the event would allow the restaurants to present their culinary offerings to residents and visitors ahead of the new tourism season.

“This also provides participating restaurants with an opportunity to showcase their culinary offerings and give guests a preview of what they can look forward to during the 2026/2027 season,” McCoy stated.

“We are pleased to support an established culinary event such as the Village Cay Food, Wine & Rum Festival and collaborate on a launch that will build excitement for BVI Restaurant Week as the next major culinary experience on the local events calendar,” he added.

Bobby’s Marketplace, Frozen Imports and Caribbean Cellars are supporting the event, which the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission is producing.
