Cedar School ranked BVI’s #1 private school for 2025
Cedar International School, Century House Montessori School and Ciboney Centre for Excellence have been ranked as the three best private schools in the British Virgin Islands for 2025 by global education platform Schoolbell.net, which publishes annual school rankings based on data-driven reputation scores.
According to the ranking, Cedar International School topped the list with a contextual reputation score of 100.0, followed closely by Century House Montessori School with 99.7, and Ciboney Centre for Excellence with 98.9.
The rankings are compiled annually by Schoolbell.net, a global education discovery and rankings website. Schools are assessed using a contextual reputation score, which measures online credibility, visibility and trustworthiness. The criteria are designed to reflect how schools are perceived by families, educators and the wider education community, helping parents make informed enrolment decisions.
Schoolbell.net said the evaluation focuses on private schools offering internationally recognised curricula, Montessori education and specialised learning experiences that cater to both local students and expatriate families living in the territory.
“Families exploring private education options in the British Virgin Islands deserve clear, reliable insights,” a spokesperson for Schoolbell.net said. “Our 2025 rankings are designed to spotlight schools that consistently demonstrate strong reputations and meaningful educational value, making the school selection process more transparent and accessible.”

All three are white folks school
All schools in these VI were tops Caribbean wide prior to the invasion of the CARICOM MauMau. Bolstered by the self destruct inclinations of too many Black folks the school system and quality of life took a rapid decline and it continues. These ” “White schools” are open to all and do have Black children enrolled, their parents that are results of the once upon a time BVI schooling and ,as a result are financially successful, caring and willing to sacrifice and invest in education, for the future of their children.
This post is corrupt with local and international caucasion biases and prejudices.
More, those who have so called compiled the data are equally as bias and prejudiced.
“Schools are assessed using a contextual reputation score, which measures online credibility, visibility and trustworthiness.”
Are their data suggesting then, that the local schools are of no “online credibility, visibility and trustworthiness.”
Many would beg to differ. When will authentic educational investigations become genuine and free of world class prejudices?
This report has a great sense of being untrust-worthy and biased to the core. What a seriously prejudicial piece of journalism.
Government schools are not included in the surveys, nor is there any comparison.
Hmmmm you should check your facts as all three schools are extremely multi cultural and have a very diverse international enrollment. But good try!!
Not because they may appear multi cultural, That is a well established farce.
That’s the normal response from white supremist racist. One who never acepts truths even when they are fully of none other.
Strangely … when my child was at Cedar, all of the kids in their class were born here!
It is a good school. Long time.
Dear All Reader,
