As the BVI continues to enjoy no new reports or active cases of COVID-19, government has further shortened the territory’s curfew hours.

According to the latest curfew order published in government’s official newsletter, the Gazette, on November 4, the curfew will now run from 2:01 am to 4:59 am daily.

Businesses are therefore permitted to operate up until 2 o’clock in the morning.

Meanwhile, persons will be permitted to operate private vessels outside of the territory’s maritime exclusion zones between 5:01 am and 6 pm daily.

On the other hand, ferries are permitted to operate between 5:01 am to 1:59 am daily.

This latest order comes into effect on Thursday, November 5 and will run till Thursday, November 19.

curfew isn’t going to do anything if there is no reinforcement of mask wearing. How many have been fined so far, how many businesses closed for not following covid guidelines? The reality is some time somewhere it will get in to our community and if we aren’t wearing masks its going to spread fast. Its a fact

Pure and utter nonsense. 3 hours curfew serves what purpose.

Advise to the Government… remove the curfew, reopen the borders, ease the restrictions placed on foreigners, bring in a few franchise and foreign investors… all geared towards sparking economic recovery and growth.

These cats need to explain what is the reason for this curfew. It has no basis in any kind of science.

Foolishness and a waste of time. Government needs to get their priorities in order. What’s the sense in having a 3 hour curfew? I Really don’t understand these guys.

    24 hours a day
    3 hours a night
    21 hours a play
    19 Covid cases to fight.
