My deepest condolences to her family, especially Troy, and to the people of the BVI and her family in the US Virgin Islands on her passing.

Delores was a Virgin Islander at heart, a lionhearted nationalist, who laboured tirelessly for the people of these islands.

I will miss hearing her voice in the House of Assembly. May the people of the BVI, her constituents of the fifth, and her homeland, the seventh district; the Lettsomes, find comfort in knowing that she was cherished, truly cherished by us all and will be greatly missed.
