The National Bank of the Virgin Islands (NBVI) is delighted to announce D’Moi Hodge as the bank’s newest brand ambassador.

NBVI is excited to have supported D’Moi in basketball camps and tournaments in previous years and for the homecoming activities this past weekend. At 24, Hodge has made a profound impact by being the first BVIslander to participate in the NBA Draft and receive a two-way contract with the NBA in the esteemed Los Angeles Lakers Franchise.

Joy Penn, the Chief Executive Officer of NBVI, emphasised the Bank’s dedication to supporting young professionals and recognising their accomplishments within the community.

Penn said, “We deeply admire individuals who work diligently, set ambitious goals, and persevere to achieve extraordinary success for themselves and our beloved Territory. D’Moi is a shining example for our Bank and the entire Virgin Islands, inspiring others with his remarkable achievements.”

Hodge’s family have been long-standing customers of NBVI. Graciously accepting the sponsorship and ambassadorship, Hodge expressed his heartfelt gratitude, stating: “Knowing that the National Bank of the Virgin Islands believes in me means the world. It motivates me to push my limits further and bring pride to my home through my training and performance on the court.”

The ambassadorship will commence for the third and fourth quarters of 2023, with an annual review. As the official bank of paradise, NBVI takes immense pride in Hodge’s accomplishments and other outstanding athletes like Kyron McMaster, who have brought recognition to the Virgin Islands through their exceptional determination and skill.

The Bank remains optimistic and eagerly looks forward to supporting this talented basketball player as he proudly represents the Virgin Islands as the first-ever NBA player from the BVI.
