Expats charged for illegal firearm, ammunition
Two expatriate men have been charged after police allegedly recovered a firearm and ammunition during an operation at Nottingham Estate on Tortola last week.
The circumstances surrounding the discovery remain unclear, but BVI News has reliably learned that 40-year-old Wilson Lorenzo Perez of Antigua and Barbuda and 51-year-old Antonio Diaz Montero of the Dominican Republic were arrested and charged in connection with an alleged Glock handgun and nearly 10 rounds of ammunition.
It is also understood that Perez is facing an additional immigration-related charge. Sources indicate that he has been charged with illegal entry into the Virgin Islands. While authorities are reportedly uncertain of the exact date he entered the territory, information suggests he may have been living in the community for more than three years.
Perez is further alleged to have refused to cooperate with police and denied the allegations against him.
The charges come amid ongoing efforts by law enforcement to remove illegal firearms and ammunition from the streets as police continue their campaign to curb gun-related crime across the territory.

Heard he’s back in town for a double…zzzZzZZzzz
BET THEY WILL SOON BE OUT ON BAIL.
Both are candidates
for ” prison escapee” BVIsland style.
Considering these VI escapee records.
Not imprisoning them in the UK or making effort to do so is in my opinion,an intentiknal effort and action to assist these killers of a certain kind.
On the plane. Rapido.
For the seedz of those wannabe bad boyz, for my pitbull “TRUMP ” he will be very delighted to feast on them . I can perform the operation for free painlessly,( as a health care practitioner ) unlike “trump” that is ruthless in his execution of his duty to serve & protect his owner’s property / whoever is around will hear when they HOLLER OUT as trump flexs off heself by removing their seedź in one BITE then puts them in a container untill I get to season & barbecue them for him .
of hearing about your pitbull and seedz. Please come up with something different to express your emotions.
Huh?
Extradition same day please

That’s why for years I say Tortola needs an ICE department.
Before we shout “Send them back where they came from”, are we sure they are not from here. They got guns and ammo. Has their car got tinted windows? They may be from VI. Check to see if they are business people with children to confirm.
MONTERO
DIAZ
