Fahie, Prince are Ms and Mr Senior BVI

Mariette Malone-Fahie and Nehemiah Prince are the first ever Ms and Mr Senior BVI.

The duo was crowned following a highly entertaining pageant at the H Lavity Stoutt Community College on Sunday night.

On his way to the crown, Prince took home the best talent award. He received $500, a cellphone, gift certificates, and two round-trip tickets to Virgin Gorda.

“I feel happy. I had a feeling that I was going to win. When you are doing something you have to put God first, and that’s what I did. He answered my prayer,” Prince told BVI News following the event.

The 81-year-old Major Bay resident is the father of two and is originally from St Kitts.

Before his retirement, Prince was employed at the Enid Scatliffe School for 37 years.
