Female police officer stabbed during festival village brawl
A female police officer was reportedly stabbed in the arm early this morning, August 1, while attempting to break up a fight at the Festival Village grounds.
Reports indicate that the officer was injured during the altercation and later transported to the hospital, where she received stitches. She is said to be in stable condition.
Details surrounding the incident remain unclear, including whether anyone has been arrested or charged in connection with the stabbing. Authorities have not yet issued an official statement.

having minors get drunk and watch yall young adults do all kinda nonsense in their presence for them to copy and be influenced? you can argue well dont send your kids to festival…true but the younger youths still look to yall as role models not the older generation. the festival committee is to blame as well yall got artist coming here singing about sex,drugs,gangs,violence etc and one even big up a well known criminal who dies recently…
mind you there is no sex offender list while all of this is going down… imagine all the offenders that attend these nights….
young people and the younger youths you guys are straight up glorifying criminality and see ntn wrong with it…. but when crime start to surge again….when 13yrs old with ak47 break into your homes… when you start to see a huge number of highschool drop outs… when you start to see surge in domestic violence and single mothers…when you start see more gangs like the young money boys gang this affects all of us old generation and new.

This place is so corrupted, for a so call at large to make a statement say the ex leader a know drug dealer could do it better ion the bvi, and some of the comments calling for his return to be leader you know this place has gone to the gutter, you drive the island this is no paradise, it looks like the slums. I am ashamed to call this my home.
Look around you everyday lots are leaving like rats on a sinking ship, crime is on the rise, gun violence, robbery and the politicians getting fatter and fatter because they loving that lifestyle off our hard earned taxpayers money. They calling for independence to benefit who to enrich who, while the average person suffers, no proper running water.
The UK not even interested in taking over because this place has nothing to offer, they won’t even hear the cries of the people, and come to our aid, they will allow the bvi to hit rock bottom first. I hope in doing so they jail all of them responsible.
Governor please we the average citizens are desperate call out for the UK’s help, we can’t endure this much long

There are some quiet animals and there’s some wild f!@#ing beasts running around hooting & hollering….festival village is pretty much the same.
Sometimes i wonder what really the role of the security cause them more like statue . Nonsense in this place…..
What you want security to do.
Festival village is one big open pit where the untrained animals is let out of their cages before they were properly trained to function in society. No decent people want to be around those untrained animals. The fighting, the smoking the dope and slucking down the rum like it is water in the heat. If you can’t hold the liquor don’t drink. Then talking all kind of stupidness and causing problems and fights. They are not properly doing security checks upon entering the Festival village. Today a knife tomorrow a loaded gun. This is the reason I choose to stay away from the village. I may be wrong before it is all said and done something is going to pop off in that village. Did you all forgot about the dude in Festival village that got sprayed up in the bathroom down St.Thomas in the Festival village?
