Fire blazes on Virgin Gorda!

Not the actual scene of the fire mentioned in the story.

Firefighters and personnel from the Taddy Bay International Airport are on the scene of a fire currently blazing in the Black Witch Hole area of Virgin Gorda.

Speaking on the VIP Let’s Talk radio show Tuesday night, Ninth District Representative Vincent Wheatley warned residents to stay away from the area of the blaze.

He further advised residents on the sister island to stay off the Copper Mine Road at this time. The District Representative also urged residents in the surrounding areas to be careful and prepare to be evacuated if the fire spreads further.
