The H Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) has announced that five more persons have been certified as Patient Care Technicians in the territory.

They are Tamica Williams, Paula Millet-Williams, Madonna Daly, Sharon Ellis, and Marvalene Pinnock.

Within one year of the programme, a total of 14 persons have been certified through HLSCC, and employed in various public and private medical establishments.

Through HLSCC’s partnership with the American Education Certification Association (AECA), the college has been able to offer certifications across the areas of Medical Billing and Coding, Medical Administrative Assistant, and Patient Care Technician.

The AECA certifies candidates on the basis of clinical skill and theory for its allied healthcare exams.
