Mrs Edris O’Neal

Former First Lady of the British Virgin Islands, Reverend Edris O’Neal has died.

Family members said she died this morning, May 24 after what they describe as an “extended period of illness”.

Her passing comes just six months after the death of her husband, Honourable Ralph T O’Neal — a former Premier and Chief Minister.

Mrs O’Neal is a holder of Her Majesty The Queen’s prestigious award, Order of the British Empire (OBE).

OBEs are typically awarded to an individual for their outstanding achievement or service to their community.
