Francis Lettsome takes 4th straight title at Inter-Primary Champs

Francis Lettsome Primary School secured a fourth consecutive title at the Inter-Primary Athletics Championships, topping the overall standings with 326 points after the 2026 meet concluded last Friday.

The championships, held across March, saw Francis Lettsome finish ahead of Enis Adams Primary School (270 points) and Bregado Flax Educational Centre (269.5 points) to retain the title and extend its winning streak.

In a social media post marking the achievement, the school described the victory as a decisive finish to the competition. “The Inter-Primary Sports meet ends the only way it knows how… with the BIG. BAD. WILDCATS securing the 4-PEAT CHAMPIONSHIP!” the post stated.

The school also highlighted standout performances across multiple divisions, noting that it claimed three divisional titles. “Out of eight divisions, we DOMINATED three,” the post stated, identifying Geanna Gordon (Under-9), Jonathon Gordon (Under-11), and Cliffon Logan (Under-13) as champions in their respective categories.

According to the post, the team’s performance demonstrated a collective effort from its athletes. “Thirty-four athletes. One team. One mission. And every single one of them showed heart, grit, and unstoppable Wildcats pride from start to finish,” it stated.
