Indecent exposure probe uncovers immigration overstay
A 51-year-old man who was taken into custody for indecent exposure later ended up facing deportation after the police discovered that he had overstayed in the BVI.
BVI News understands the incident happened in Road Town, where a woman was on the compound where she works. The accused man allegedly approached her and began making sexual gestures. He soon pulled down his pants and exposed himself to the woman.
It’s understood that the woman reported the matter to the police, who arrived on the scene and began collecting information about the suspect. They reportedly examined CCTV footage from the area and later arrested the accused in Road Town. Our news centre was told that he denied the allegations made against him.
It’s also understood that the woman declined to press charges and instead asked that the man be warned. The police reportedly dropped the matter as requested, but later discovered that the 51-year-old was overstaying his landing permit in the BVI.
He was later handed over to immigration officials along with his passport. It remains unclear whether the man will be deported to St. Kitts and Nevis where he has legal status.

I don’t understand why they hide critical information from the public. Suppose I meet those idiot/pervert and don’t know it’s him and he attacks. We hide and cover the wrong things too much.
