A Jordanian national was recently charged with assaulting a local police officer.

BVI News understands the man, who reportedly resides on Virgin Gorda, was arrested and brought to the VG Police Station when the incident occurred.

During his interaction with the officer in question, the man reportedly attacked the cop while speaking in a loud and boisterous tone.

Our news centre understands that another police officer heard the commotion between the two men and rushed to quell the dispute. The arrested man was reportedly warned that he would be charged with assaulting the cop and then placed in a jail cell.

It’s also understood that the man refused to give a statement to cops who attempted to record his account of the squabble involving the officer.

Our news centre wasn’t able to ascertain whether the Jordanian national is still in custody. It’s also unclear whether he will be brought before the court to answer the assault charges against him.

Well, it takes money to make money. If you have big money, you can invest big to make bigger money.

When people from outside the territory read news they read blogs also. Potential investors read to see the sort of climate the would be coming into. Notice there haven’t been much new foreign investors in a while. What sprouts from the mouths of ignoramuses quell the desires. The government trying play hard ball with regards to who and how one should hire in their businesses to ensure profits is a huge turn off. Just watch the lifestyle enjoyed slowly dwindle to where the margins of elite dwindles and the gaps widen to show struggling people and see the huge jump in criminal activites. Continue with the tone. In about 10 years see the drastic change. Many will capitalize on that UK citizenship.
