Police charge unnamed gov’t official with Breach of Trust

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) announced that Breach of Trust charges were laid against a senior government official on Wednesday, December 13, concerning an ongoing investigation within His Majesty’s Customs.

Despite repeated inquiries from the media, there has been no response regarding the decision to withhold the official’s name from the public. It it customary for the police to release the names of persons who have been arrested and charged.

In a brief release, the RVIPF said, “As a result of the investigation, the government official was subsequently charged with one count of Breach of Trust in a Public Office.”

The RVIPF added, “As this matter will now be sub judice, the RVIPF will make no further comment.”

Several public servants and other officials have been charged with Breach of Trust in the wake of the Commission of Inquiry (COI), which ended last year.

BVI News will bring more details as this story develops.

The retaliation has started for challenging the UK Commissioner of Police. This is going to seem justifiable but it is going to be slavery all over again but in a modern form.

Thrown off? ….as far as I know he is still employed and getting paid by the force, stop speaking about what you don’t know

      • Majestic Life Watch says:

@getfacts If that interdicted ex officer is till getting paid by the force then truly the system is in need of some serious fixing. I need to see evidence of your statement, but then again, we know how evidence in the wrong hands gets treated.

          • Majestic Life Watch says:

It truly. Is a sad but laughable example what passes for investigative work around here, its like the efforts of an ex policeman who has been a failure since his airport days, even failed at breaking the law, now trying to bait an innocent man into a public response. Stop being so soft go to whom you think is responsible and let him know just how you feel.

This place is really Hollywood. The Brits set up an entrapment to bring down the former leader so that they can come in and head the smuggling, I meant the struggling community. They have their hands on the wheel, already kill one of their own, one on the port’s board, one heading the police and a newbie at the prison.

Now pana refuse to stand trial in the US so they decided to set up bring him down in he home town with breach of trust. You see ting to tell the king?

Maynard is leading the proceedings with her testimony. So if Maynard did not budge to get a lesser sentence and of course it will be her word against his, who these guys would have used on the stand?

The result of this case is not guilty base on insufficient evidence because it is all caught up in a conspiracy to remove from office by the Brits with no drugs and entrapment money.

Now this puzzle is making a bit of sense. I was always wondering how these men get in the BVI without declaring over 10K that they used to scam the bronx and this is where pana come in with the breach if trust. He refused to get involved and it was the governor who was denying that he had anything to do with it finally giving directives being heads of homeland security. So pana pull back on all end and refuse to corporate with them so they want to knock him down with breach of trust claim.

Now I want to believe that the former premier knew this was coming on him and a set up from the get go. He was even informed by the man of the cloth down at new life batiste.

    Real holly wood take massa!
