Kenai Jacobs charged with attempted murder after Monday’s shooting

Police have charged the man believed to be the gunman in Monday night’s shooting with attempted murder.

Charged is 21-year-old Kenai Jacobs of Long Look on Tortola.

“Jacobs was charged additionally with possession of a control drug after a search warrant at his residence uncovered a quantity of cocaine,” police said in a media release Thursday morning.

Meanwhile, the Fat Hog’s Bay resident who was injured in the shooting is still being treated at hospital. His condition is not known.

Police are asking persons with information in relation to the shooting to come forward.

“Persons can contact the RVIPF through its three-digit access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit directly at 368-9339,” police said.
