Local taxi operator wins 65-inch TV from CCT

CCT Operations Associate, Raemona Maloney hands over a 65-inch Samsung smart TV to Ernest Jacob, winner of CCT’s promotion for customers subscribing to the company’s Freedom, FIYAH or CCT Live plans.

A local taxi operator Ernest Jacob was gifted this week with a 65-inch Samsung smart TV from telecommunications provider CCT.

The elated taxi man won the device as part of a promotion CCT ran from February 1 to April 6 to reward its loyal customers.

A media release from the telecoms provider today said customers that subscribed to CCT services such as Freedom (a postpaid calling and data optional), FIYAH (CCT’s ultra-fast fibre internet), or CCT Live (the company’s television content product), were automatically entered in the giveaway.

The drawing was done live, on the company’s Facebook page on Tuesday when Jacob’s name was randomly selected as the winner.

“At CCT, we believe in offering our customers the best products and services possible. This promotion was our way of thanking them for choosing us to help them live life, unlimited. We will continue to provide the best customer experience and offer more exciting promotions in the future,” CCT’s Marketing Manager, Sachkia Barnes said following the promotion.

The telecoms company indicated it will be celebrating its 37th anniversary this month and the public can anticipate more giveaways as the company continues to “say its thanks to customers and the Virgin Islands community for its loyalty through the years”.

  1. Scam says:

Sorry but winning a TV, smart phone or any electronic devise that requires an internet connection monthly plan is simply a tactic to squeeze more fees out of a loyal customer.

A better prize is a totally FREE monthly plan with the fastest speeds, all the add ons(Utube, whatsapp, etc) for a decade or more. When is CCT going to present that type of ‘prize’ to its loyal customers or better yet the public?

I hope he does not live in East End because CCT no longer works there.

  3. Damn crass... says:

Hope he stays at home every day and watch TV instead of going into the stores making a scene cussing and carrying on for discount on the products. Miserable @$$
