Man arrested for gunfire during altercation
BVI News understands that a man was recently arrested and charged for firing shots at a house during an altercation with another male.
It is alleged that the suspect was initially involved in an argument with a woman. Our sources say the woman’s brother intervened in the argument when the accused attempted to hit the sister.
The suspect reportedly made several threats before driving away from the scene. It is understood that he returned shortly after and fired several shots into the yard belonging to the siblings with whom he had the argument.
He reportedly drove away quickly after firing the shots.
BVI News understands that several persons including children were in the yard at the time of the shooting.
The police were called and the accused was later arrested and charged.
It is unclear if he was offered bail and when he will appear in court to answer to charges laid against him.
