Man fatally shot at East End bar
Information reaching BVI News is that a man was shot and killed at a bar in the East End area earlier this evening.
Details surrounding the shooting are still sketchy but our news site understands that the victim was recently released on bail from His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) at Balsum Ghut just a few months ago.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force confirmed that the shooting incident occurred in the Parham Town. It said no other details were available at this time.

This year 2023 just begin and all these things happening already. We have two road accident deaths: One on Jost Van Dyke and another scooter death on Tortola. On January 13, 2023 a young man was seriously injured in another scooter accident. All our young men are dying: being seriously injured in accidents, gun-down, shot, locked up in prison.
There are more than 75 plus unsolved murders in the British Virgin Islands and the unsolved murder rate is climbing every year. We are just in February 2023; another young man is gun-down.
It is time to pray seriously for our male youths. Are they our future leaders? What happen to the MALE organization that was established to help or reach out to the young men in this Territory?
Waiting to hear the COP say “the streets cleaning itself” to compensate for their lack of ability to solve the murders that continue to plague our territory. But…if they are the ones doing the killings then nothing will be solved. RVIPF is corrupt from the Head.
With little public co-operation and few CCTV cameras, how can the police be held responsible.
