Man hospitalised after being stabbed by girlfriend
One of the latest reports of domestic violence reaching our news centre, involves a couple from Spooners Estate who share a small child.
The usual victims of domestic violence are females but in this case, our news centre was told that it was the woman who stabbed her child’s father, causing him to be admitted to hospital.
It is understood that the couple was at home when an argument ensued. Sources say it was the woman who first attacked her spouse though the issue that caused the argument isn’t clear.
It’s also understood that the woman threw a few household items at the man and he retaliated by throwing an item back in her direction. It is alleged that she then grabbed a few knives from the kitchen and began throwing them at him. She later attacked him with one of the knives and stabbed him in the abdomen.
It’s not clear whether the man received any other injuries but highly placed sources say he spent a few days at the hospital where he received medical treatment.
Our news centre was also told that the police caught the woman who also had minor bruises on her body. However, there are no reports that the woman was arrested or charged for injuring the man.
It’s also not clear whether she will face court for the injuries her child’s father sustained.

Interesting, because if that woman had received a stab Wound from that Man He would have been in jail with a long court case hanging over his head. Women abuse men all the time and get away with it.
She will get a slap on the wrist because the system only knows when a man lay hands when a woman does it it is watered down to nothing
She needs to be locked up and charged with attempted murder, causing bodily harm to another person which resulted in hospitalization. I don’t want to hear crap about self defense. If so prove it! Should have said so from the get go.
