Man plays ‘ass’ at accident scene

A photo of a man lying at the scene of an accident on the western end of Tortola created a stir on social media today, reportedly slowed traffic on the roadway, and sent some journalists double checking.

It was later discovered that, although there indeed was a minor accident some time ago, the man pictured lying on the roadway at the time was not a crash victim.

It is said that, upon seeing the accident, he used brush to cover sections of his body, and also started to pretend as though he were dead.

To help allay concerns, a male resident later released a voice note on social media explaining what had happened.

“Nothing wrong with he; [he’s] just playing ass,” the resident clarified in a light-hearted voice note.

Since then, a video also emerged of the man rising from the roadway and ridiculing persons at the scene who had thought he was killed in the accident.
