Man wanted in connection to rifle seizure still at large months later

Months after announcing a manhunt for Kevin Tyson, police are still searching for the Johnson’s Ghut resident, who is wanted in connection to a gun seizure that happened on January 24.

Police said the gun in question is a semi-automatic rifle that was found along with several rounds of ammunition that day.

Tyson is said to be approximately five feet, six inches tall. He is medium-built and has a dark complexion.

“He may be armed and dangerous; therefore, do not approach him,” police said in a fresh media release on Wednesday.

Another wanted man

In the meantime, the police are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a second man — 27-year-old Nyron Erickson of West End. Law enforcers did not disclose why an arrest warrant has been issued in his name.

Anyone who may have seen any of these men or have information on their whereabouts are asked to contact the local police force on at its three-digit access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 284-368-9339.
