Maples Group honours top Grade 6 English achievers
Twelve of the BVI’s top Grade 6 English students have been recognised by the Maples Group for their outstanding academic performance ahead of their transition to secondary school.
The recognition ceremony, held at the Maples Conference Room in Ritter House, celebrated students who achieved the highest English grades at their respective primary schools. The event highlighted the importance of literacy, communication and academic excellence while recognising the hard work and dedication of the students, along with the support provided by their parents, teachers and school communities.
Maples Group, one of the leading companies in the Virgin Islands’ financial services sector, said the initiative forms part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education, youth development and academic excellence across the territory.
Christopher Newton, Managing Partner of Maples Group’s BVI office, congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence as they begin secondary school in September.
“Today we celebrate 12 exceptional students whose achievements in English reflect their hard work, perseverance and commitment to learning,” Newton said. “Their success is an inspiration to their peers and a strong reminder of the value of dedication and academic excellence.”
