While inviting the general public to its ‘Mix and Mingle’ event to be held at R&R Malone Complex in Pockwood Pond this evening (January 25), the Opposition Virgin Islands Party (VIP) said the event is an example that the organization is being renewed.
“There is going to be a lot of food and drink. We are going to have light entertainment; people will be able to be formally introduced to the different arms of the Virgin Islands Party, as we are in the process of refueling the torch so that it can burn brighter than ever to shine a clear path of prosperity,” said VIP Chairman Andrew Fahie.
He continued: “One things we are not going to make anyone do is define the Virgin Islands Party for us. We have done that in the past, and now it’s time for us to redefine the Virgin Islands Party and also re-brand the party. It will be done. The longest journey starts with the first step. It is going to be a home for everyone to build a better Virgin Islands.”
