Mystery woman in Fahie trial unmasked

Former Premier Andrew Fahie

Prosecutors in the Andrew Fahie drug and money laundering trial unmasked a local mystery woman who was previously identified in court documents only by the initials ‘RS’.

During testimony on the second day of the trial, jurors heard hours of tape recordings of discussions between the former Premier and an undercover US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) informant.

The court also reviewed exhibits and heard witness testimony presented by prosecutors in the trial.

The prosecution’s only witness yesterday, Jossue Dominguez, told the court he lied to Fahie about his job and his real identity, among other things.

Dominguez posed as a low-level drug trafficker working for Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel and promised to introduce Fahie to his boss, “Roberto”, whom he presented as his godfather to the former Premier.

Dominguez revealed that he was actually a narcotics detective detailed as a “task force officer” to the DEA.

Roberto, in the meanwhile, was the man whose real identity Fahie desperately wanted revealed ahead of the trial, but failed in his bid to do so. The undercover informant is not expected to testify at the trial.

While in Miami hours ahead of his arrest, Fahie, Roberto and Fahie’s co-accused, former BVI Ports Authority Director Oleanvine Maynard, all attended a meeting, which was attended by the woman who was identified during court proceedings as Roxane.

The court heard that Fahie played an active role in a plan that he believed would see him receive an initial payment of $500,000 in cash in exchange for his support in allowing BVI waters to be used for cocaine trafficking, beginning with a 3,000-kilogram test shipment weeks later.

Testimony from the witness was paused when Judge Kathleen Williams adjourned the trial to continue proceedings today.

Unless I have gone blind or cant read anymore, I did not see anywhere in this article any reference to the mystery woman as the person you named.

All I read was that she was unmasked in court, but no name mentioned in this article.

Please copy & post where that reference was made. I’ll have my glasses ready.

When you are getting older, sometimes the arthritis hit you in your eyes whereby you cannot see sometimes, so the name could have been there but the arthritis in my eyes, particularly the left one was acting up. 🙂

People like B and R can be involved and accused of all type of crime and still be held in high esteem. CRIMINALS in TORTOLA run most things. When I go Delta or Hospital again I’m asking for a KEY to open doors.
