One injured in Wednesday night shooting

One person was inured in a shooting incident on the main island of Tortola last night, Wednesday, August 9.

According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), the shooting happened around 9 pm in Capoon’s Bay.

The gunshot victim, a male whose identity the police did not disclose, is receiving medical treatment and is said to be in stable condition.

The circumstances that led to the shooting is not yet clear to our news centre, and the RVIPF said investigations are ongoing.

Last nights shooting is the latest in a series gun attacks that have been happening consistently for the last several months.

    Where is the Christian Council ? The BVI has gone to the dogs . This is what the young Premier is promoting.
    As he says we are changing but for the worse.
    Changes are inevitable but no sah not this

    We complaining about losing our culture but look how little support East End / Long Look festival at the village was supported . Two pot of peas soup … the others were macaroni, bbq chicken and rice and peas
    A little stall with a few local artists work but yet still complaining that island people take over to promote Carnival blame the people in charge . They are all LOCALS
    The island artist cannot come in without the permission of the LOCALS who are in charge

    Where is the promotion of FUNGI music it is dying who to blame the island man . People need to stop
