One person injured in West End shooting

One person has been injured in a shooting incident that happened on the western end of Tortola Thursday afternoon.

The identity and the extent of the gunshot victim’s injuries are not yet clear but the police said the injured person is being treated at hospital.

The police did not disclose the circumstances of the shooting and said in a late night media statement that no further information was available at that time.

BVI News will provide more details as it becomes available.
