They aren’t supposed to. If they do, please report them to the Environmental Health Department. The Supermarkets are supposed to make an effort to place all of the contaminated products into sealed garbage bags which should be taken directly to Pockwood Pond Incinerator. EaInformation from each contaminated product should be noted and the Vendor contacted to have funds returned to the
respective Supermarket. The Vendor and Supermarket has something in place whenever there’s a recall of products. Therefore, once the Consumer can prove purchase of the product, the Supermarket has to give you back your money because the Vendor is also paying them back. Oscar Meyer will be paying back their Vendors and/or Food Distributors. Don’t let them fool you. Make sure to report any Grocer whose greed lead them to sell customers contaminated or expired food items. Thats so Abominable!
