Over a dozen vehicles gutted in early-morning fire
More than a dozen vehicles were destroyed in a major fire in Lower Estate early Tuesday, January 20.
Unofficial reports indicate that as many as 18 vehicles were gutted in the blaze, most of which were safari buses primarily used for tourism excursions around the main island of Tortola.
BVI News understands that the fire started hours before daybreak on Tuesday in an area used as a parking facility for the buses. No injuries had been reported up to press time.
The cause of the fire remains unclear, and investigations are ongoing. BVI News will provide further information as it becomes available.

Not good. This is so sad. Emergency vehicles should never be used for personal errands. There is a lady in Virgin Gorda who actually takes the ambulance on her personal errands. Someone needs to look into both of these. Whatever happened to protocols?
I don’t mind she uses it for personal errands. If she gets a call, at least she can go the same time. At least less time wasted.

The word “Thought” means an idea or opinion produced by thinking which is the correct word which should have been used in your sentence.

Whoever did something like that need life in prison. That is cruel, callus and criminal minded.
Lots of people live in that area and could have receive serious injury from smoke and/or flying objects. The person who did this is a serious criminal. So many vehicles could not have caught fire without help of some sort. This morning I am sad for the proprietor of that business.
18 vehicles simply do not self combust. Hope there are some CCTV videos about that area. Terrible. If it is what I am suspecting, RVIPF really needs to solve this one.
Those boys in CGB got a history of burning people out. Maybe he pissed off a certain nasty vendor when he quit bringing ppl to Glen Garden Bay? Hope who ever did it gets burned to the core! Greed.

There are some evil, baddminded and disfigured minds existing in the BVI today, the likes that were not there in my generation growing up.
From personal experience, they are some of the most callous, heartless and evil individuals on earth today.
We have sunk a long way backwards into envy, greed, jealousy and evil.
Only we ourselves are to blame for this. We must cleanse and free our minds. But the more we pray and believe in sky god, the more evil things we do to innocent people.

More Derelict Vehicles
The destruction of these vehicles by fire will only add to the millions of derelict vehicles, trucks, boats and containers/trailers all over the Territory.
It done have so much of Derelict vehicles and boats all over the place and now this is going to add to the eyesore and nasty unsightly condition that already exist.
Baugher’s Bay alone has hundreds of derelict vehicle piling up especially in the area across from Public Works Department.
This Territory is becoming a place of waste and garbage.
More than one side to a story , so let’s wait and see / before we start pointing fingers / at the white colonists slave masters ) like they do on the yello site ) hopefully no blood shedding on the horizon
