Perez to represent BVI in six countries after major win

For many years, many have seen the Performing Arts as an option for those who are uneducated, or for those who have no better options in life.
The frightening twenty first century reality is the fact that the music industry is a billion-dollar industry, which has positioned many to live very fulfilled and prosperous lives all across the world.
Delma Perez, the winning delegate of the Platinum Search International in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), walked away on January 14 as the Performing Arts ambassador to the BVI.
She will represent the territory in six other countries across the Caribbean region and Africa.
“We all congratulate this bold young woman for her efforts to not only establish her career as a singer, but to be the historic first ambassador of this programme from the BVI,” said the event organizers.
They further said: “The Caribbean has seen the emergence of various supporting entities over decades, yet most seem not to truly understand the true potential of the Performing Arts, and have ceased to exist as a result. Talented young people continue to yearn for something or someone who is prepared to establish the platform to fulfill their dreams, make them recognized not only in their own country, but to mobilize them internationally as they establish a career in the disciplines they love.”
Platinum Search International further stated that it was strategically designed to open doors across the world for all talented persons.
Its programme was launched in 2010 in the BVI as a trial and error presentation, which has been expanded regionally and internationally.
“Platinum Search International is currently the largest performing arts programme of its kind, and will continue to expand across the world into the twenty first century,” the promoters further said.
The prizes up for grabs are
- International six country travel package for local winner to St. Vincent, St. Maarten, Barbados, Trinidad, Jamaica, and Africa.
- Winning overall delegate crowned as the International Platinum Search delegate of the year at the International Platinum Search Grand Final Showdown Event, which is set to be hosted in Jamaica.
- International recording contract provided by the Caribbean Performing Arts Corporation.
- International cruise package.
