PHOTOS: Public pays respects as Eileene Parsons laid in state
Several of Virgin Islanders filed through the House of Assembly today to pay their respects to the late Eileene Lucia Parsons, OBE — a towering figure in BVI politics and culture — as her body lay in state ahead of an official funeral set for Thursday, February 17.
Parsons, who passed away on 22 June at age 94, held a distinguished career in public life. She was one of the first women elected to the Legislative Council in 1995, and later became the first woman in the BVI to serve as Minister for Health, Education and Welfare. She also served as Deputy Chief Minister and Deputy Speaker.
Tomorrow, 17 July, an official funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the Road Town Multi‑Purpose Sports Complex, preceded by a procession from the House of Assembly at 8 a.m. The interment will take place at the Road Town Methodist Church cemetery. Government has announced that flags on public buildings will fly at half‑mast in her honour.

The lord should ask Mrs parsons for $100 USD for entry into the golden gates of heaven. The same $100 USD she claims expats never see before they came to the VI.
The lord should also ask for full christian citizenship before entry.
