Police confirms fatal incident in Paraquita Bay

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed a fatal incident that happened some time around 1 pm today at Paraquita Bay, Tortola.

One male was pronounced dead at the scene. The police did not disclose the man’s identity.

Details of the incident are unclear but BVI News understands that the incident involves a heavy equipment vehicle.

“Officers are currently at the scene and investigations are ongoing. More details will be provided as necessary,” the RVPF stated.

Responders from the Virgin Islands Fire & Rescue Services were also present at the location.
