Police confirms ‘sudden’ death of baby

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed the death of a nine-month-old in the territory.

In a brief media statement moments ago, the police described the infant’s death as “sudden”.

“[The] cause of death is still to be determined,” the RVIPF stated.

The law enforcers did not provide any information on where the infant was at the time of its death. However, unconfirmed reports to our news centre are that the baby might have been outdoors at the time.

BVI News will provide more information this developing story as it becomes available.
