Police investigating prison stabbing
One inmate at His Majesty’s Prison in Balsam Ghut was hospitalised yesterday May, 12, following a stabbing incident at the facility.
The stab victim’s identity and the extent of their injuries are not known at this time.
Meanwhile, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force said one person was arrested and taken to the Road Town Police Station for questioning.
Details are still sketchy but the police say investigations are ongoing and that more information will be provided as the investigation develops.
