Police seeks help to locate injured man

The following is a media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).

The Royal Virgin Islands Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Kassim Bentie, 44, who received serious injuries at an event in Jost Van Dyke on Monday, 7 March.

He was admitted at Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital following the incident but discharged himself before the critical treatment.

Investigating officers are concerned about his present condition and welfare, and therefore are soliciting the help of anyone with information about his whereabouts.

Persons with information can contact the Special Investigation Team at 368-9155 or the RVIPF three-digit access number 311.

    how was he injured…is he wanted for criminal matters…is he dangerous…should he be avoided…

    His health is in his own hands he has the right to refuse treatment and self medicate
