Premier back before the COI today

Premier Andrew Fahie

Premier Andrew Fahie is back before the Commission of Inquiry (COI) to give evidence.

The hearing began moments ago when Premier Fahie opted to kick things off with a brief prayer.

The COI then commenced questions about matters concerning Cabinet, which is the executive arm of government.

Not long after the start, the COI went into recess so they can paginate a document that the Premier had submitted to the COI as part of the hearing.

Premier Fahie’s appearance before COI today marks the third such occasion, at least.

BVI News will provide more information on his evidence in a subsequent publication.

The COI was issued on January 19, 2021 to look into whether corruption, abuse of office or other serious dishonesty may have taken place amongst public, elected and statutory officials in recent years. Following hearings, the Commission will make appropriate recommendations as to governance and the operation of the law enforcement and justice systems in the BVI.

The Premier thinks that he can use much words to fool people. By the time he finished with his answer you have to wonder what the question was.

      • Believe me says:

Premier was sweating bullets in that chair. He was probably saying to himself, to God be the glory like he always says, knees shaking, get me out of hereeeee.

  3. Clearly says:

Clearly the Foy is trying to impress as his lawyers have told him to talk, talk, talk to bury the subject of the question. However Sir Gary and Rawat have closed their ears to the Foy gibberish, and asks him for his response which is never clear. What is clear is a dish**est cr**k is trying to hide behind babble. Not working Foy. Save it for the …

I wonder if he is going to run out like VW did all shock up doing the early morning shakes.

  5. 1st District says:

Such an embarrassment to watch today. I hope they call the former AG to give evidence as you continuously threw him under the bus. Andrew your government is not a young government. You fully aware what you was doing.

All you did was let Rawat and the Commissioner know you are a big f**l.

We the people of the first district are fed up. We will take our envelopes and still vote you out.

    Immature, petty, childish premier.

  6. Repent says:

Is this why he got his cronies in the church to call a week of repentance? The ones who need to repent are in the government. Stop using God and prayer as a facade.

    • Repentance My Foot says:

They think God is a Gennie, the call him out when its convenient for them. Then he have these foolish people in some of the Churches fooled, talk about week of repentance, so if they prayer it will be easier for Him to tell more l++s, all he need to do is to give them the Cool Aid like Jim Jones did
