Processing of police reports, visa waivers halted

Commissioner of Police Michael Matthews

The processing of police records and visa waivers has been halted indefinitely because the technology used to create the documents was damaged during the recent hurricanes.

Commissioner of Police Michael Matthews today announced: “Since the systems for inputting and reviewing police records are presently not operational due to damage from the passage of the recent hurricanes, police certificates or visa waivers will not be processed or issued until further notice.”

“Resumption of these services will begin as soon as systems are up and running,” the commissioner said.
