RiteWay shores up
Brand new metal bars have been installed at the entrance to the RiteWay supermarket in Road Town.
In recent times, the establishment has been hit by two major robberies.
In both of those incidents, the gunmen reportedly exited the supermarket, immediately took a sharp U-turn, and disappeared at the back of the building.
The new metal bars have not blocked the entire escape route, but it has made a potential robber’s journey out a bit longer and probably less discreet.
