PRESS RELEASE – Countryside Adventures and PAW BVI are getting together this coming Saturday April 15th, to provide the VI with an afternoon of rural entertainment and Easter fun.

Diamond Estate Farm and Country Centre will open its gates at noon on Easter Saturday, showcasing an afternoon in the country to raise funds for the busy charity.

‘Everyone is welcome to take the opportunity of being up close and personal with the team at the Funny Farm! The inaugural ‘Canines Cats and Critters Egg Hunt’ will be held that afternoon for all children present. Special prizes for this and other games are provided by a very appropriate sponsor – Bleu Chocolat.

Anyone can ride a pony, go into Pets Corner, bottle feed an orphaned lamb, peruse the cake stall, eat barbeque lunch, and partake in a cold beverage while they anticipate the special events to come. The CCC Easter Egg Hunt will take place mid afternoon, with prizes awarded by Bleu Chocolat, followed by the famous – Countryside Adventures Tortoise Derby with a 10 runner race card.

‘PAW BVI’ provides a spay/neuter programme for our community, aiming to decrease the number of strays on Tortola. The organisation is dedicated to lessening the suffering and abuse of BVI animals.

This is an event for all the family with the exception of your own dogs, who are kindly asked to chill at home!
