Four persons have been charged in connection to the loaded gun, drugs, and cash that were seized during a police operation on Sunday, September 27.

In a media release on Wednesday, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) revealed that the drugs found were 112 blocks of cocaine weighing 124.36 kilos.

The persons implicated have been identified as 26-year-old Hector Gonzalez, 27-year-old Pineda Moises Gonzalez, 26-year-old Franklin Ramirez Garcia, and 32-year-old Jessica Faronas Farinas.

They are all Venezuelans residing at Anderson Estate.

They have been jointly charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug, Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Supply, Keeping a Firearm without a Licence, and Landing in the Territory without Permission from an Immigration Officer.

“They remain in custody pending their appearance at the Magistrate’s Court,” the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said.

The RVIPF further said another two Venezuelans — 59-year-old Dannys Rodriguez Robles and 55-year-old Emerais Lopez Leiva — were both charged for Overstaying Landing Permit. They too were residing in Anderson Estate and will be arraigned before the Magistrate’s court.

The accused persons were first arrested after police executed a search warrant at several properties in the aforementioned area.

  11. Its all related says:

Take it or leave it, the movement of Drugs through the BVI is a known fact and the US Border Border Control knows it. I’m sure Gus is also aware of it and might be an additional reason for Gus bringing the ship for additional protection of our borders against smuggling and Covid19 control. Politicians might pretend to not be aware of the situation but Im sure the governor knows. Financial Services and Tourism are said to be the BVIs Twin Economic. Drug Trafficking might just be the 3rd. In 1992 or 93, two bodies were discovered shot to death in the Sage Mountain area. Since then there have been more Drugs related killings and also a Drugs Related shoot out in the area near Delta Gas Station in Pasea Estate. Currently the commissioner of police is reviving the search for the persons who committed the crimes going back twenty plus years and bringing them to justice.
Regarding the governor bringing the British ship to protect our borders, there might be more in the mortar than the pestle”
