Soca artistes rock Virgin Gorda

International soca acts Mr Killa and Farmer Nappy left Virgin Gorda in a frenzy after performing many of their hit songs during Sunday night’s staging of the Easter Fest.

Showers of rain did nothing to dampen the mood as fans stood under the downpour and embraced the energy from Mr Killa, the reigning International Power Soca Monarch champion.

The Grenadian artiste performed hits such as Run Wid It, which was received with cheers from patrons.

Trinidadian Farmer Nappy also kept the crowd captivated and was also well received when he reeled popular songs such as Hookin Meh, Chippin, and Big People Party.

While the tempo of his music differed from Mr Killa, the Soca veteran had patrons rocking and singing along to many of his songs.

Not to be left out are the local acts including DJ Carly Cartel who opened up the show with his versatile display on the turntables, It’s A Secret Band, Virgin Gorda’s Adam O, as well as Sistah Joyce, and VIBE.
