Police have still not recaptured 19-year-old Khori Prince who escaped custody last Friday.

Reports from the Information Unit of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are that Prince was in custody on a burglary charge before his escape. He was being held pending an appearance in the Magistrate’s Court.

In detailing the circumstances of his escape, RVIPF Information Officer Diane Drayton told BVI News: “An officer was rendering him assistance outside of his cell when he assaulted the officer and ran.”

Police said they are still seeking the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the teen escapee.

Prince is said to be medium built, 5 feet 9 inches tall, and weighs 156 pounds.
