Stunning run! BVI’s Adaejah Hodge wins gold at CARIFTA Games

The BVI’s Adaejah Hodge has won gold in the Girls Under-17 100-metre final at the CARIFTA Games currently happening inside the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica.

Hodge finished the race in a stunning 11.29 seconds; almost matching the CARIFTA record of 11.27 set by Jamaica’s Brianna Williams back in 2018.

Running out of lane three, Hodge led the pack from the start to finish.

She decimated the race; finishing several metres ahead of the other runners. Shatalya Dorsett of the Bahamas finished second with a time of 11.80 seconds while Jamaica’s Theianna-Lee Terrelonge finished third in 11.87 seconds.

The three days of games continue.

@VG Steve, it is your choice not to believe God, others have the choice and right to do otherwise. Since your comment suggests you are far removed from the way Christians serve their God, I will take your comment as an invitation to tutor you on how we worship God. We give all Glory to God in whatever we do. While I do not subscribe to attitudes of some Christians who are praying for miracle for tasks that require hard work, I am also aware that despite all preparations and hardwork, things could still go awry when we least expect it. By the way, you could be right. You wrote about *god* and not our *God* who rules in the affairs of men. Congratulations Adaejah. You have what it takes to become the next fastest woman on earth. God bless you

Today is Ressurection Sunday. She doesn’t need any negative advice fed into her spirit. All she needs to do is put Christ first and cover herself under His blood. That way absolutely NO WEAPON shall prosper.

This girl is a very special talent and will be a force to be reckoned with for years to come. Jamaica, Bahamas & Trinidad have always dominated Caribbean Track & Field but based on the athletes they have been turning out over the last few years BVI is about to join the party!
