Fashion and culture lit up the British Virgin Islands over the weekend as Summer Sizzle BVI celebrated its 15th anniversary with a high-energy showcase of global style and Caribbean flair.
The four-day event wrapped up on Sunday, but the highlight came Saturday night with the Global Glamour Runway Show — a star-studded affair that transformed the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex into a fashion hotspot.
Hollywood actor and Tortola native Neil Dawson co-hosted alongside veteran stylist and media personality Lana Rae, as designers, models, and influencers from around the world converged on Tortola. This year’s runway theme — Superfine: Tailoring Black Style — paid homage to bold tailoring and the cultural influence of Black fashion.
Featured designers included Brandon Gray (Los Angeles), Chuk Collins (Nigeria/UK), STANLION CLOTHING (Cameroon), and Andrew Nowell (Washington, DC), among others.
The show also spotlighted the next generation with the return of the Summer Sizzle Kids Show, styled by celebrity stylist Khaliah Clark.
Leading up to the main event were a series of stylish happenings, including the Sizzle Saturdaze marketplace, a white masquerade gala, and beauty workshops. The celebration closed Sunday with a sailing and beach party on Jost Van Dyke.
Now in its 15th year, Summer Sizzle BVI continues to position the Virgin Islands as a global fashion destination — merging runway glamour with island soul.
