Three arrested in connection to last month’s robbery and burglary

Police have arrested a total of three persons in connection to a robbery and an unrelated burglary that happened on Tortola last month.

A media release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) on Saturday said two men were arrested concerning the March 30 burglary at Sunshine Grocery Store.

Those two have been identified as 21-year-old Dekembe Parsons of Purcell Estate and 22-year-old Nikolai Brathwaite of Carrot Bay.

Both have been charged with Burglary and Breaching the Curfew.

“They remain in custody pending their appearance in the Magistrate’s Court,” the RVIPF said.

As for the March 24 robbery of at E&B Convenience Store in Palestina, police arrested and charged 21-year-old Shadrack Thompson of Johns Hole for that offence.

He also remains in custody pending his appearance in the Magistrate’s Court.
