Tropical Storm Jerry forms | Expected to become a hurricane Thursday, hit Saturday

Tropical Depression 10 has now been upgraded to a tropical storm and is forecast to strengthen into a hurricane within the next several hours.

According to the Department of Disaster Management’s (DDM) 11 o’clock weather update on Wednesday, September 18, Tropical Storm Jerry has maximum sustained winds nearing 50 miles per hour with higher gusts.

“Jerry is forecast to become a hurricane by late Thursday, with little change in strength anticipated on Friday and Saturday. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the centre,” the DDM said.

Current predictions indicate that the territory will experience heavy rainfall from Friday as Jerry moves closer. The weather system is also expected to bring gusty winds and rough sea conditions, especially on northern coasts.

Jerry to arrive on Saturday

“On the forecast track, the system will be near the northern Leeward Islands Friday and pass north of Puerto Rico on Saturday, [September 21],” the DDM said.

This means Jerry is expected to reach the territory by Saturday. At 11 am on Wednesday, September 18, the centre of the storm was located near latitude 14.6 degrees North, longitude 49.2 degrees West.

“Jerry is moving toward the west-northwest at 14 mph. A west-northwest motion at a slightly faster forward speed is expected over the next few days,” the DDM said.

Persons are reminded to continue to monitor the weather system for any change in its path and intensity, as it travels closer to the territory.

In the meantime, the DDM is advising residents to review their family plans and check for items they may need.

“Check your homes, shutters, drainage paths or specific areas. This will avoid you trying to do and remember certain activities at last minute,” it said.

I have learned not to rely on DDM for emergency information. They are telling us the storm will begin affecting us on Saturday, but the NOAA chart says Friday.

DDM provides information that they receive from the Antigua Met Services. The BVI does not have the capacity to track weather etc. and simply relays information from its Regional counterpart. They always say pay attention and monitor the storms. We all have access to internet and other means of information, why bash DDM?

There are now, proven facts, through revealed documents, that for decades, there have, and are on going endeavors to exterminate the Black race. That is a fact. So, hit your key board and disprove it, you are dared to.

Indeed, there are scientist in labs throughout the UK, US and EU, especially in aboveground labs being paid exorbitant high salaries to affect the three specific areas of our vulnerability, and they are 1) our imported food 2) our medicines and 3) our water.

For self edification, do some research and you will find that Black people like Eagle eyes and especially those who are deeply researched on the topic have all reasons to be in fear of eating, drinking water or taking medicines.

Finally, but don’t take these words as just words, ask the millions of people of Haiti, South Africa, Kenya and the Congo, for example, who have been affected by HIV/AIDS, EBOLA, the millions of women who have been made barren, the millions of babies that have mysteriously died and more.

The devil is a wicked man! This case is adjourned.

Since you guys have this theory that the weather is being altered, don’t be surprised if the weather is altered to dump a few inches of snow and hail on the BVI instead of rain.

The National Hurricane Center(NHC) in Miami, Fla. updates all the tropical weather systems 4 times a day at 5AM, 11AM, 5PM and 11PM. Just check their website twice a day for the next few days to keep track of Jerry. It’s easy. The Wed 5PM forecast predicts that Jerry will be a minimal hurricane when it passes 150 miles north of the BVI on Fri. night.

There are yet no models that can give a precise time and location of hurricanes days or months in advance. Otherwise many persons in the private sector would just leave the island with their house 1week before a major hurricane.
